I may be gone on and off from this little blog for a few weeks. I need to spend my time sewing (not blogging) for this sale. So, I’ll leave you with 7 random things about me. Christine from sewchristine tagged me with the 7 things meme and though I’m still on the fence about these meme things (brings back a crazy chain letter obsession I had in fifth grade) I thought what the hell.
1. I’ve been to Syria
2. I only have one bobbin
3. when I use scissors my jaw moves up and down
4. I am the youngest of six
5. I love a good turkish breakfast
6. I majored in philosophy
7. I made this cake and it was much better than a ding dong.

Oooh… you’re the first person I’ve met that’s also been to Syria! Where did you go? did you enjoy it? I thought it was spectacular.
BTW, I love your drawstring bags for the dump trucks.

My husband moves his jaw up and down when he feeds our baby. HE CAN’T STOP! My mom says I did the scissors thing when I was a kid.
And I only have three bobbins, which is not as few as you but I think it would still make most people gasp. : )

I’m amazed that you only have one bobbin! I am this close to asking the make of your machine, so I can send you a pack – seriously, you won’t know yourself……

one bobbin! well, i shouldn’t sound so shocked because i have several bobbins but only USE one. i hate changing thread color so 99 percent of all my things are sewn with the same neutral thread. best wishes on your upcoming sale, i’m positive you’ll be a huge success!

I sew everything with white thread. Unimaginative and lazy or simple and chic, pick one. I own a simple Kenmore machine and they don’t sell the bobbins at Joann’s–that is my lame excuse. With 2 kids in tow, I’m a one stop shopper all the way.

That cake looks so good! My son’s b-day is this week and I might make that for him, so thanks for the idea! I had no idea what I was going to do this year. I hope you get lots of work done for your show!

Wow, one bobbin! That sounds like me. Things got a bit grim when the bobbin winder on my old machine stopped working!
