kcwc: day six

Nothing fancy today, just some laze around the house pants for a chilly Saturday. Cashmere pants. I wish I had some. The baby hasn’t benefited much from kcwc this time around–not that he’s noticed. I’ve got a stack of pants sewn up for him that still need elastic, but they’re just pants. These are the best of the bunch and even they aren’t that exciting. I stopped buying sweaters to felt a while ago because it was getting a little hoard-y, but now I’m thinking he might need some sweater overalls for this winter. Maybe we’ll take a little family trip to the thrift store this afternoon.

I to love Chez Beeper Bebe blogsite and all the amazing things she creates! I knitted my son a bear which I think has a lot of character (after just doing scarves it was my first big knitting project and I was pretty proud of myself for finishing it – only took ~ 6 months:)). My favorite soft toy I’ve made my kids was the sunshine plushie using the tutorial on chez beeper bebe. :)

I would totally choose the sleeping baby on a stick and hope that it would have a good influence on my non-sleeping baby (who’s not on a stick). The last toy I made for one of my kids was a cute crocheted monkey. It was lost within a week.
my aunt gave me a teddy bear when i was little and i loved it, it disappeared when we moved, i think my mom gave it to my cousin, i was sad u_u but my aunt happened to have another one just like it and gave it to me :D

Hoorayyy!!!! I finished my little girl’s dress. I love everything that I have seen Elsie make during the course of this week. I feel lame putting together only one outfit, but as I mentioned I do not have a sewing machine so this one is completely handmade. i’ve made some fun plushies from felted this and that for my little one. monsters, penguins, cats – but my favorite is a stuffed beaver with a wood grain tail.
